Colgate - Major Money Maker at Rite Aid!

This week Rite Aid has Colgate toothpaste on sale for $3.50 and you earn a $3.50 Up reward when you buy it, so FREE!  Make sure you get the Total Advanced or Sensitive brand. The limit is 4 UP rewards per Wellness Card.


It is a money maker with coupons:

Buy 4 Colgate toothpaste for $3.50 each = $14.00

Use four $1.00 manufacturer's coupons from the 2-12-12 Smart Source insert = $4.00

Pay $10.00 plus tax out of pocket

Get back $14.00 in Up rewards!

There is also a .50 Rite Aid store coupon for Colgate toothpaste in the Diabetes Toolkit coupon booklet that I posted about recently, that you can "stack" with the manufacturer's coupon for a bigger profit.

CVS Deals

There are some really good deals at the CVS drugstore this week! Always scan your CVS card at the redbox to get store coupons. Keep scanning until it says "no more coupons". Get a green bag tag and have the cashier scan it every time you shop. After four scans, the redbox will spit out an Extra Care Buck (ECB) worth $1 off anything in the store! CVS accepts one store coupon AND one manufacturer coupon per item.

This week I bought:

Head and Shoulders Ocean Lift Shampoo OR Extra Volume Shampoo (14.2 oz) - marked down from $7 to $1.57 a bottle. They both produce an ECB worth $2 and you can get it SIX times! If you can find it in stock, use the $2 off 2 coupon that was in the Proctor & Gamble insert on 1-1-2011.


If you can't find the H&S, look for Pantene Highlighting Expressions Shampoo (for brilliant blonde highlights) (13 oz) marked down to $1.49. There is a coupon in the Proctor & Gamble insert from 1-1-2011 worth $3 off 2 Pantene products. Buy 2, use the coupon and make a $4 profit!!
Skinny Cow Candy (6 ct) on sale Buy One, Get One Free. I used a BOGO free coupon from the internet to get two free:  Printable coupon

Nivea Lip Balm on sale 2 for $5. Buy 4, use two of the coupons in the 1-1-2011 Red Plum to save $3 when you buy two. You will spend $10 minus $6, or $4 out of pocket. But then you get back a $5 Extra Care Buck, so it's like they are paying you to shop!

It is worth it to buy the Reinventing Beauty magainze for .99 because of the coupons inside this month. Jennifer Lopez is on the cover.

One is for $1 off the Colgate Total Advanced toothpaste. You can combine that with the coupon in the 1-1-2011 Smart Source insert for .75 off. The toothpaste is on sale this week for $2.74 and you get back $1 ECB! The limit is two.

Another is for $1.50 off any Fruitopia hair product. For some reason mine took off $2 from a bottle of hairspray that was clearanced to $2.09, so I paid .09!


Finally, there is a coupon for $2 off any two Essence of Beauty lotions. I found small hand lotions marked .99 each (Island Bliss) and got 2 free with the coupon!
