Giant Deals week of March 16-22, 2012

There is a super Gas Points deal at Giant this week. The Hormel Compleats Kids Microwave Tray meals are on sale 5/$4.00 or $1.25 each. They come out to just 15 cents each when you use the 55 cent coupon from the Red Plum 2/12/12 insert, doubled!

Even better, when you buy 5 in one transaction, you get a bonus 200 Gas Points that can be used to save 20 cents per gallon on your next gasoline purchase at Shell!

If you don't have enough coupons for the Hormel, you could throw in a couple of Planters Nutrition bars, on sale for $2.00 each, and use the 75 cent coupon from the 1/8/12 Smart Source insert. Just be sure to purchase your items in lots of five.

You can read more about the Gas Points program at Giant here.

Also this week, Giant has a promotion to save $5.00 instantly when you buy 6 qualifying frozen food items. Here is a scenario that will make them cheap for you:

Buy 4 boxes of Bagel-fuls on sale for $2.00 each and use two coupons for 75 cents off two that you can print here. These will double to $1.50.

Buy 2 bags of Dewafelbakker Pancakes for $2.00 each and use two coupons for $1.00 that you can print from Facebook here.

Pay $12.00 - $5.00 Instant Savings - $5.00 coupons = $2.00 out of pocket or 33 cents each!

I couldn't find the Dewafelbakker pancakes at my store, so I substituted 2 bags of Alexia potatoes that are on sale for $3.29 each. You can print out a $1.00 coupon at their website here or from their Facebook page here.
