Giant Frozen Food & Philly Cream Cheese

Today is the last day to stock up on frozen food for cheap at Giant. Remember to calculate the shelf price in order to reach $25.00 and get your $10.00 catalina coupon (or $15.00 to get a $5.00 catalina), then use your "cat" on your next order.

Here is a wall of frozen food that I picked up this morning at Giant in 5 transactions.  My total out of pocket expense was $25.36 and I still have a $10.00 catalina coupon for my next shopping trip!

I used the following coupons for my trip:
- Smuckers Uncrustables - 50 cents off 1 box blinkie that I got in a trade (doubled to $1.00)
- Smuckers Uncrustables - $1.00 off 2 tearpad that I got in a trade
- Farm Rich Appetizers - 75 cents off that you can print here (doubled to $1.50)
- Farm Rich Appetizer - $1.00 of Pretzel Bites peelie (found on package)
- Ellio's Pizza - $1.00 off any one from the 2/12/12 Smart Source insert
- Birds Eye Steamfresh - $1.00 off 3 from the 3/4/12 Red Plum insert (NOTE: only the corn, peas, and mixed vegetables are counting towards the catalina.)

I also got 5 tubs of Philadelphia Cream Cheese, which has a separate catalina deal running until March 18th.

This deal is a double dip, meaning that you will get both the Kraft and the Philadelphia Cream Cheese cats for buying the same item.

Here is what I did:
Buy 5 Philadelphia Cream Cheese (8oz tubs) - $1.99 each
Get $4 Kraft Cheese OYNO
Get $3 Philadelphia Cream Cheese OYNO
Total: $9.95 - $7.00 catalinas = $2.25 / 5
Final price comes to 59 cents each after catalinas!

More Giant Deals for week of March 9-15

I didn't manage to get into Giant over the weekend, so today I stopped in to use the $5.00 frozen food Catalina that I received last Friday (see my post below). I bought 3 Farm Rich Appetizers and 1 Breyer's Ice Cream.

      

The shelf price on the Farm Rich items was $6.99 X 3 = $20.97. The shelf price on the Breyer's was $5.19. Together these items met the $25.00 threshold to trigger a $10.00 frozen food Catalina coupon.

However, the appetizers were on sale for $4.99 each and the ice cream was on sale for $3.00, so my total came to $17.97.

I then used three $1.00 "peelie" coupons that I found right on the package to bring my total down to $14.97. After my $5.00 Catalina was applied, I owed $9.97 plus 32 cents tax - $10.29, and I got back another $10.00 Catalina!

If you can't find the packages with the "Peelie" coupons on them, there were coupons in the Smart Source insert of 11/13/12 for $1.00 off one product. There were also coupons in the Smart Source of 1/15/12 for 75 cents off one Farm Rich Product, however these coupons have fine print that say "not subject to doubling" and will not double at Giant.

Maruchan Yakisoba Noodles are on sale this week for 50 cents each, so FREE with the $1.00 off 2 coupon that was in the Smart Source insert of 3/11/12!

Beech Nut Rice Cereal (8 oz) is on sale for $1.54 a box. Use the .75 coupon here to take off $1.50 when doubled and pay 4 cents a box!
