Keebler Right Bites Try Me Free Offer!

Tonight I stopped into Giant to get some more cheap milk and cereal.   I had used up all but one of my Kelloggs Krave coupons earlier in the week, but I found some coupons for 50 cents off one box of Kelloggs Crunchy Nut at the SnackPicks website. I got:

- 1 box of Krave for $3.59 and 2 boxes of Crunchy Nut for $3.99 each = total of $11.57.

- Used 1 coupon for 70 cents off Krave and 2 coupons for 50 cents off Crunchy Nut = total of $3.40 after doubling

- Got $4.00 Instant Savings

- Paid $4.17 and got a catalina coupon for $3.75 off a gallon of milk plus 3 codes for the Spiderman free movie ticket promotion.

While I was at the store I noticed a free standing cardboard display for Keebler Right Bites and some of the boxes were marked Try Me Free! Also on the display was a tearpad coupon to save $1.50 on the cost of one Keebler Right Bites and 3 Fuze. I checked the price of Fuze and found they were on sale for $1.00 each, so I grabbed 3 and a box of Right Bites, which were on sale for $1.67. My total came to $4.67 - $1.50 coupon, so $3.17 out of pocket.

You can see on my receipt that the Keebler Right Bites normally cost $2.99 and that is the price I circled and will submit for the rebate. After rebate I will have paid 18 cents for everything!

A $3.98 Harris Teeter Super Double Trip

This is my beautiful daughter, Charlie, with all the things I got at Harris Teeter during my 2nd Super Doubles trip.

Prior to shopping, I had downloaded the Gain detergent and the Gain fabric softener e-Vic coupons to my Vic card, and they BOTH came off my purchase. Also, my first $1.00 IP coupon for the Life Savers went through, but the second one beeped. The manager pushed it through, and since the Life Savers were on sale for $1.50, I ended up with overage!

I was especially happy to get milk, bread, and cheese for this price. The milk alone normally costs $3.99!



While shopping I noticed an interesting sign in the greeting cards section. It said: Buy 4 American Greeting cards (minimum $1.99) and get a free Flowering Hanging Basket. Four plant styles from which to choose. I don't know how long this deal is going on, but it sounds like a good one to me - $8.00 for a hanging plant (regularly about $15) and four nice quality cards. Mother's Day will be coming up soon!

We had plenty of good meals this week from my stockpile and freezer, so even though I didn't buy anything except for dog food, cereal, milk, soda, and candy we didn't starve! The baby food will be donated.

I did have to spring for a loaf of bread with no coupons - I hated doing that, but my kids pack sandwiches for their school lunches every day, and I didn't have enough drugstore rewards to get a free loaf this week, which is my usual strategy.

The sale week is almost over at Giant (the new one starts every Friday) and I was so busy with the Harris Teeter Super Doubles that I didn't have time to focus on their cereal and milk deal.

You need to have a VIC card in order to qualify for these prices. A ZVR is an electronic coupon that you "load" on to your VIC card from the Harris Teeter website before going to the store. It can only be used once, but will stack on top of an insert or internet coupon.
