Here are some ways you can use the coupon best: 

- Wegmans has an everyday low price on eggs of $1.59 for a dozen large eggs.
Final price = $1.04 a dozen

- Giant will double this coupon to take off $1.10, and eggs are on sale there this week for $1.99 a dozen through 3/29/12.  

Final price = $1.44 a dozen

OR

If you got a coupon on your hand scanner at Giant for 75 cents off 2 dozen eggs, you can combine it with this manufacturer's coupon.     Final price = $1.07 a dozen

- Harris Teeter has Grade A eggs on sale for $1.69 a dozen starting 3/28/12 and will also double this coupon to $1.10.     

Final price = $1.14 a dozen

- Shoppers charges $1.89 for a dozen eggs and will double the coupon to $1.10.
Final price = 1.34 cents a dozen
 

- Walmart charges $1.88 for a dozen eggs.    

Final price = $1.60 a dozen

- Food Lion eggs run $1.94 per dozen of large, white eggs.

Final price = $1.67 a dozen

- Safeway eggs are $2.79 a dozen and they will double the coupon.
Final price =  $2.24 a dozen

Harris Teeter Triples - March 21-27, 2012

Harris Teeter supermarket will host a Triple Coupon Event beginning the week of March 21st!

Triple coupons mean that they will triple any coupon with a face value of 99 cents or less (as long as it doesn’t say do not double/triple). You might want to start saving and printing those 75 cent off coupons now!

Also, it is good idea to go to the Harris Teeter website here to save eVic coupons (electronic coupons or Zavers) to your card. Often these disappear and if you haven't saved them in advance, you won't be able to take advantage of the deals when the week of Triples happens.

Giant Update!

 

I tried the Speed Stick Buy One Get One Free coupon at Giant tonight, but it did not deduct $3.99. It took $2.00 off my bill automatically, so I ended up paying $1.00 each for two deodorants.  

However, I have a couple more deals to post for this week:

Grande Tortilla Chips are on sale Buy One Get One Free. The regular price is $2.99, so that means $1.50 each. If you use the $1.00 coupon from the 1-15-12 Smart Source they will be .50 each!

Bloom Stores Markdown to 50% Off

The two Bloom supermarkets that are closing in Loudoun County - in Ashburn (on Farmwell Rd.) and in Leesburg (on Fort Evans Rd across from the Outlet Malls) - discounted their entire stock of merchandise by 50% today!

Those two stores are no longer doubling coupons, but will accept manufacturer's coupon at face value. They will not accept Bloom store coupons. They are open seven days a week, from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Next week the stores will discount merchandise to 75% and the percentage will continue to drop weekly until they close around February 12, 2012.

Say Goodbye to Bloom

Delhaize America, the parent company that owns Bloom supermarkets has decided to "retire" the Bloom banner and close many of their stores in the country, including one in Ashburn and one in Leesburg, VA, within the next 30 days.

The rest of the Bloom stores in Loudoun County, VA will be converted to Food Lion stores beginning immediately.

Although Food Lion has lower prices in general than Bloom, they do not double coupons or host Super Double events as Bloom does. Click here for the full press release.
