My first freebie Ebay sale for the month were these 2 boxes of Nair Bikini Cream hair remover that were a money maker at Rite Aid in June. They sold for $8.99 with free shipping. I mailed them first class, which cost me $2.01.
These two Taste of Home magazines that I found at the recycling center sold for $9.99 with free shipping. One was the Premier edition from 1993 and the other was a Collector's edition from 1995. I mailed them first class for $3.47.
This lot of 200 Campbell's Labels for Education, many of which came from the recycling center, sold for $15.00 with free first class shipping, which cost me $2.09.
This lot of 11 back issues of Reiner magazine from 2012 that I found at the recycling center sold for $16.00 and the buyer paid another $16.00 for shipping.
I made several sales this month in my efforts to declutter the house:
This little stuffed Pokemon Zorua was in my daughter's bedroom for the past 3 years and she had outgrown it. It sold for $9.99 in an auction plus the buyer paid $2.01 for the shipping.
My husband used to play softball every weekend when we lived overseas, so he bought these 2 Mizuno softball bats and an Easton bag to carry them. Since we moved to the U.S. five years ago, they had sat in the basement. I listed them on Ebay and sold them for $139.99 plus shipping, which the buyer paid.
Another purchase from our time in Africa was this Harry Potter fabric. I bought nearly 3 yards at a fundraiser to have something made for my kids and never got around to it. I pulled it out of the basement to list and found that it was the official licensed fabric which was out of print. It sold to someone in Australia for $99.99 plus the buyer paid for shipping.
These two ATV helmets that we bought for our kids were they were little no longer fit, so I listed and sold them for $34.99 each, plus the buyers paid for shipping.
My total trash-to-cash Ebay sales in July came to $327.36, and after subtracting 13% for fees, I ended up with a profit of $284.55!
When I first started selling on Ebay, my husband said he would be thrilled if I could make $200 per month, which would cover our car payment. I'm pleased that I managed to do that this month by selling items that were free!
AWESOME! You go girl! Such an inspiration to me.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your Ebay trash to cash posts. I would love it if you do a post on how to get started selling on Ebay and tips and tricks you learned along the way. You are really talented, and I would love to learn how you do this! Thank you. Michelle S.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Michelle. It's coming up next month!!
DeleteAwesome Theresa. Since your last post I actually listed a pair of Levis on ebay and made $15 and made another $23 on Craiglist for various household supplies. It's a start!
ReplyDeleteI haven't gotten to the extra steps to sell anything other than coupons but you have so many things in your store now. It am sure you spend a lot of time getting all those things up there but I am glad that it works so well for you. I only make about $50 but hope to get to selling some of the bigger stuff soon. You are an inspiration!!!
