Dirt Cheap Milk & Cereal at Harris Teeter!

This week, in addition to the deals I already posted HERE, Harris Teeter has a special promo to get $3.50 off the price of milk when you buy 4 Kelloggs cereals in one transaction. Apple Jacks and Froot Loops are on sale for $3.69 Buy One Get One Free. If you use 4 coupons from the Kelloggs Family Rewards site for $1.50 off each box, the cereal ends up FREE and the milk only costs $1.17!!

Here is the math:
4 Kelloggs Cereals - $2.69 X 2 = $5.38
1 Gallon Milk - $3.29
Total = $10.67
- $6.00 in coupons = $4.67
- $3.50 instant savings = $1.17



Harris Teeter Shipping Trip - November 30. 2012
 

This morning I ran over to Harris Teeter to pick up supplies for my son's 17th birthday. I had a $20.00 pharmacy credit and purchased the following:

1 Carvel Sinfully Chocolate Ice Cream Cake - $2.99
1 Harris Teeter Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream - $2.50
3 Totinos Pizza Rolls - RC for BOGO price of $1.00 each = $3.00
6 Yoplait Simplait Yogurts - 60 cents each = $3.60
2 Kelloggs Froot Loops - $3.69
2 Kelloggs Apple Jacks - $3.69
1 Gallon Harris Teeter Skim Milk - $3.29
Total - $32.76

I used:
3 insert coupons for Totinos Pizza Rolls for .35/1 = $2.10
3 insert coupons for Yoplait Simplait for .30/1 = $1.80
1 ZVR for Yoplait Simplait - 40 cents
4 coupons for $1.50 off Kelloggs cereal = $6.00
Total coupons = $10.30 + 20.00 pharmacy credit = $30.30

My out of pocket cost was $2.46 + 77 cents tax = $3.23 and I will get 40 cents back from Saving Star for the yogurt!

However, after I got home I realized that I did not receive the $3.50 instant savings on milk for buying the 4 Kelloggs Cereals, so after I go to customer service to get reimbursed, this trip will be a small money maker!
 
Note:  I cashed in 100 points at the Kelloggs Family Rewards site for the $1.50 Kelloggs Cereal coupon and was able to print it 14 times before getting a message that I had reached my limit!
