Last week I easily came in under budget by using FLIP's at Food Lion and getting some great deals at Harris Teeter. I also got bacon, eggs, pepperoni and snacks at Walgreens with $10.00 worth of expired Register Rewards that I got in trade. Only one of my stores takes them, but they were of no use to the person who traded and meant free groceries for me!

I didn't realize until I started couponing that you can find a rebate for most anything - even prescription drugs - with an internet search. My son needed his annual contact lens prescription filled this month, and I paid for a year in advance in order to get a $30.00 discount at Target, then sent off for the above rebate to get back another $50.00!
