Weekly Roundup #31 - Jul 29 - Aug 4

I didn't do a lot of shopping this week - just picked up a few items at Giant for the gas points and some freebies at Rite Aid. I read recently that sales are always slim the last week of the month, because retailers know that many people are paid on the 1st, and save the best sales for early in the month.

I did a good job of staying close to my $50.00 budget this week, even though my husband ran out to Harris Teeter and paid full price (with no coupon) for ginger ale when my tummy was upset! Some last minute money makers at Rite Aid allowed me to get cheap antifreeze for our car, as well as peanut butter and ketchup that we were out of. I didn't buy a lot at Giant, but still managed to accumulate 900 Gas Points this week!
