Rolling the General Mills Promo at Harris Teeter!

Here is what I got at Harris Teeter today. I was completely out of dog food, so I rolled the General Mills promotion to get some cheap Purina Moist & Meaty that was on clearance.

First, I did the Yoplait Yogurt deal that I posted HERE. I added in the 2 Pictsweet frozen vegetables. I couldn't find the ones that were on sale for $1.00 so I ended up spending 25 cents each on them. The first transaction cost me $2.40 out of pocket with tax and I earned the $3.50 credit.

Next, I bought the following:
- 2 Betty Crocker Cake Mixes - $1.29 each = $2.58
- 2 Go-gurts - $2.00 each = $4.00
- 1 Liberte - 90 cents
- 1 Progresso Recipe Starter - $1.50
- 1 Miracle Whip Salad Dressing - $3.00
Total = $11.98

Minus the following:
- 75 cents off 2 Betty Crocker cake mixes printable coupon, doubled
- 75 cents off 2 Go-gurts printable coupon, doubled
- 50 cents off 1 Liberte yogurt ZVR
- 40 cents off 1 Liberte yogurt printable coupon (NLA), doubled
- 50 cents off 1 Progresso Recipe Starter ZVR
- 50 cents off 1 Progresso Recipe Starter printable coupon, doubled
- 75 cents off 1 Miracle Whip printable coupon, doubled
Coupon total = $6.90 + $3.50 credit + $1.00 Catalina from Giant cereal deal = $9.90

I thought I had a ZVR for 75 cents off 2 Betty Crocker cake mixes loaded to my Vic card, so I added the Miracle Whip to be sure I was in the positive. I must have imagined the ZVR because it didn't come off and it isn't on my list. My total for the second transaction was $2.50 and I earned a $3.50 credit.

Then my final transaction looked like this:
1 Purina Moist and Meaty dog food - $4.99
2 Emerald Breakfast On The Go - $3.79
6 Snickers Peanut Butter Squared Candy Bars - $3.57
Total = $12.35

And I used:
- 2 printable coupons for 75 cents for Emerald Breakfast OTG, doubled
- 2 printable coupons for 75 cents off Snickers PB Squared, doubled
- $3.50 General Mills credit
Total Deductions = $9.50
My cost for the third transaction with tax was $3.26

I was $8.16 out of pocket today, but I will be getting back:
- 50 cents off any yogurt from Checkout 51
- 40 cents for Liberte yogurt from Saving Star
- 40 cents for Yoplait yogurt from Saving Star
- 75 cents for Betty Crocker cake mixes from Saving Star
- 50 cents for Progresso Recipe Starter from Saving Star
Total refunds:  $2.55

That makes my actual cost for today's shopping $5.61!

    1. The Emerald Breakfast To Go had BOGO Free tags on it at my store and also on the Express Lane. You can check the Harris Teeter Express lane for your store on line to confirm the price.

  4. The steamable veggies were the ones on sale and I got corn and green beans for free. There was also spinach and peas but they were all empty. I hope that you find them at your store :) I am going back for more!!!

    1. I looked for the steamables, but I didn't see them, so I wonder if my store doesn't carry them (even though they were listed on the Express Lane).

  5. Theresa, I got the $1 veggies that day I saw you at the store. There were only a handful available, though.
