My April Trash-to-Cash Sales on Ebay

My first Ebay sale for April wasn't really trash, but I got it for nothing!

Remember that Frozen DVD that I posted about HERE last month, that was a money maker after you got a rebate from TopBackCash? I listed mine on Ebay and sold it quickly for $18.00 with free shipping by Media mail.

If you bought one and haven't gotten your rebate from TopCashBack yet, it is now available. If you select an Amazon gift card as your payout, there is a 5% bonus!

My next sale for the month was this copy of How to Buy, Sell, and Profit on eBay that I bought to read on vacation last summer. It went for $8.99 with free Media mail shipping.

I also sold this copy of Lone Survivor that my husband bought at the airport (I HATE when he does that) to read on a long business flight. It went for $12.99 with free Media mail shipping.

This lot of 9 Texas Trueblood Harlequin Romances that I found in the dumpster sold for $12.99 with free Media mail shipping:

This edition of Kovel's Antiques and Collectibles Price Guide for 2013 sold quickly for $9.50 with free Media mail shipping.  I also found it in the dumpster. I'm guessing someone chucked it when the 2014 version came out.

This lot of 22 Wet N Wild eyeliner and brow pencils that were a money maker at Rite Aid in January sold for $15.00 with free First Class shipping.

This huge lot of 52 Harlequin Regency Historical Romance novels that I also found at the recycling center sold for $39.99 plus $9.71 for shipping!

This lot of 8 Harlequin Super Romance novels that ALSO came from the recycling center sold for $9.99 with free Media Mail shipping.

I also sold this lot of 15 Harlequin Romantic Suspense novels from the recycling center for $17.99 with free Media mail shipping.

And, this lot of 14 Harlequin Historical Romances from the recycling center sold for $19.99 with free Media mail shipping.

So, my Harlequin dumpster books turned out to be the gift that kept on giving this month!

Finally, this Keurig machine that I found in the dumpster behind a well known store that sells things for your bed, bath and beyond sold for $18.00. It was missing the warming plate, and I listed it as "For Parts or Not Working", although it did light up blue when plugged in. The buyer paid for $11.63 in shipping.

Total sales for April from my trash pickings and coupon deals this month came to about $120.00 after shipping, Ebay and Paypal fees!

  3. I have noticed a lot of spring cleaning activity in the dumpsters. I can't wait until I have time to sell my finds! Good job Theresa!

  4. I just never have the guts to sell all that stuff on ebay. I have been doing coupons but that is about it. I am pulling out all my stuff for garage sale and I am going to start putting things together to put on craigslist before the garage sale (if I get it together fast enough). You have some great finds and I am super jealous!
