Cheap and Easy Lunchbox Snacks

We have recently had some great deals on items that make cheap and easy lunchbox snacks. I got these Pretzel Crisps for free during the last Harris Teeter Super Doubles. The Annie's Homegrown Backed Snack Crackers were 50 cents in August and the Riceworks Sea Salt chips were 19 cents last week, both also from Harris Teeter.

Instead of leaving the whole bag in the pantry to be gobbled up in one junk food session, I bag them individually for lunches to go. I always get these Simplify sandwich bags at Rite Aid for $1.00 - but they only cost 80 cents with my Gold Wellness discount:

This morning I separated the snacks and bagged them into one serving sized portions:

Then I repurposed an old shoe box to fit them neatly into my pantry:

So, when it is time to pack lunches for school, my kids can just grab a bag and toss it into their lunchboxes!

  1. If you have a Dollar Tree nearby, they have the ziploc sandwich bags (60 ct.) for $1.
