Alexia Frozen Food Settlement
If you bought certain Alexia frozen potato products between 12/6/2007 and 7/10/2013, you are entitled to either a settlement check up to $35.00 or free product vouchers worth up to $75.00. The settlement is punishment for false advertising, whereby Alexia claimed that their potato products were all natural, when in fact they contain an artificial chemical (disodium dihydrogen pyrophosphate) to prevent discoloration.
You do not need any receipts to file a claim. You merely need to fill out a form HERE. You may claim up to 10 purchases.
The Alexia products in the lawsuit are:
Saute Reds
Mashed Potatoes Yukon Gold Potatoes & Sea Salt
Mashed Potatoes Red Potatoes w/Garlic & Parmesan
Waffle Fries
Harvest Saute
Italian Saute
Saute Sweets
Potato Bites
These settlements can take years, so don't expect a check a voucher or check in the next 12 months! I am still waiting on a check from the Kellogg's Mini-Wheats settlement that claim that I submitted last year.
