Today is Stamp Out Hunger Day!

Today, May 11, 2013 is the annual "Stamp Out Hunger" food drive!

Did you know:

1 in 6 Americans are facing hunger.

More than 50 million people, including nearly 17 million children, are facing hunger.

Nearly 6 million Americans are fed by food banks each week.

Every year on the 2nd Saturday in May the National Association of Letter Carriers sponsors a drive to benefit Feeding America and provide relieve to millions of Americans struggling to put food on the table.

To participate, place a bag of non-perishable food items by your mail box, for your letter carrier to pick up today!
