PayPal Money Makers at CVS and Rite Aid!

There are two nice Money Maker offers valid through this Saturday, August 31st for PayPal cards that you may want to jump on.

The first deal is at Rite Aid:

My Cash My Paypal Gift Card
Get a $5.00 +Up when you spend $75.00 (Limit 2)

For this deal, you grab a PayPal card like the one pictured above, ask the cashier to load $75.00 onto it, and get a $5.00 UP Reward.  There is a fee of $3.95, so your profit is only $1.05. However, you can ask the cashier to load $150.00, pay the $3.95 fee once, get 2 UP Rewards, and earn a profit of $6.95!

I did this same deal in June and was able to easily transfer the $150.00 to my PayPal account afterwards by following the directions on the back of the card. Do not try to transfer the money from your PayPal account to your bank account - your account could be flagged for fraud and frozen!

The second deal is at CVS and is more profitable but a little trickier:

PayPal Reloadable Prepaid MasterCard
Get a $10.00 ECB when you spend $50.00 (Limit 2)

For this deal, you select the PayPal card picture above (it is encased in plastic) and have the cashier load $100.00 on to it. You will pay an activation fee of $4.95, but will earn an ECB worth $20.00 for a profit of $15.05!

That's the good news. The bad news is that you will also be charged a $4.95 monthly fee within 36 hours, and every month thereafter!

So, here is what you need to do to make the deal work for you:
As soon as you activate the card, use it for $100.00 worth of purchases. (You could use it to buy the My Cash My PayPal at Rite Aid!!) Then, go on-line and close your account (under Help).

If you don't have $100.00 worth of immediate purchases to make, here is another idea:  Use the PayPal MasterCard to purchase an Amazon gift card on-line, then load the Amazon credit to your account for future use. Amazon credit never expires!
