Rite Aid Report and Harris Teeter Happiness!

Tonight I ran by Harris Teeter and got everything pictured above for $11.03. However, after customer service reimbursed me $7.18 for the ZVR's that didn't come off and coupons that didn't double on my last trip, my total cost for this loot only came to $3.85. Plus, I'll be getting back another $4.00 in Energizer Bunny Bucks for the batteries which will make the trip FREE!

On the flip side, I realized today that I had $8.00 in UP Rewards from Rite Aid that were expiring, and that I had no idea what the deals were. I planned to just grab some packing tape and other necessities, but my store was closed because they'd had a flood! I wonder if their pipes froze and burst? And I wonder if they will allow me to use my expired UP Rewards tomorrow?

  2. Oh, no! I went to Rite Aid in Leesburg yesterday to get the last of the big items that are free after UPs. (They all sell well on Ebay, by the way). There are 3 of them and I rolled them, so I bought one each day, starting with the biggest at $24. Yesterday I bought the last of the 3 for $11. Our store should be kind enough to honor your expired UP if they were closed. Let us know!

  3. So glad that everything worked out well at Harris Teeter!!! I know that it is a huge downer when things don't work and they don't have nice people there to help you. It is much better to come out on the couponing high instead of the low :)

  4. I know what happened at Rite Aid! Their sprinkler system went off because of a fire and they couldn't get it shut off for like an hour. Apparently a coffee pot got left on and melted.
